About Me

Hi from the most easterly point of the UK! My name is Matt, when I am not supporting schools with employee relations in my day job, I am raising two young Mouseketeers and two dogs, alongside my husband. When we are at Walt Disney World Resort we can very often be found enjoying the slides and lazy river at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark, or riding Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios - our eldest son's favourite attraction - or as he calls it Goofy Train!

We have made unforgettable memories at Disney Destinations around the world, and I can’t wait to share my tips and experiences to help you create your own unforgettable Disney memories. 

About My Family

I married the love of my life, Jeff, during a magical trip to Walt Disney World. Together, we have two brilliant young children, Leo and Arlo. Visiting Disney destinations around the world as a family is really special and gives us time to disconnect from the everyday and focus on having fun together. There is nothing quite like watching our boys’ eyes light up as they explore the worlds created by Walt Disney Imagineering, and it is safe to say they have already caught the Disney bug from their dads. More recently, we experienced our first Disney Cruise Line voyage together, and we all well and truly caught the cruising bug - the only difficult part was convincing the boys it was time to leave Disney's Oceaneer Club!

About My Disney Experience

I grew up wearing out my VHS tapes of Snow White and Dumbo, captivated by the stories. I especially loved the Eurodisney advert at the start of the Snow White video, and in 2002, thanks to my mum's hard work and savings she took my brothers and me to what had become Disneyland Paris. Little did she know that trip would spark a lifelong passion. Seeing these fantastical lands brought to life by Walt Disney Imagineering was mind-blowing, sparking an interest (or obsession) to learn everything I could about it. Fast forward 20+ years and we have visited all the Disney Parks around the world wowed by each of them in their own way. And most recently we celebrated our love and got married at a Disney Springs venue, sharing the day with friends, some of who were experiencing the most magical place on earth for the first time.
