Oh boy! Oh boy, Patricia! I know the feeling. Your "Countdown to Disney" has gone from celebrating single digits to a number you can count on one hand. Hot dog! It won't be long before Mickey and Minnie welcome you to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. One of the last items on your to-do list is to make sure everyone has their theme park tickets, and
whoops! Something that was supposed to be an easy checkmark on your list now has you asking, "
Gawrsh! Now, what do I do?" I am glad you came to planDisney so we can get you back to dreaming about the magic on the horizon.
I am guessing from your question that your daughter manages her
MyDisney account, so "Reassign Tickets" no longer appears as an option for you. Your daughter, however, should be able to reassign them. You can ask her to go to "
My Plans," scroll to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets," and open the "My Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab. Next to the tickets, she should see the "Reassign Tickets" option, allowing her to assign them to your granddaughter as long as they are connected as "
Family & Friends" and the tickets have not been used.
She can also do this in the
My Disney Experience app. Open the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen) and select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Under the theme park ticket should be the option to reassign it to another connected Guest.
I really hope these simple steps resolve the issue so you can get back to the last items on your packing list. If she has any problems transferring the tickets, she can call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets and ask a Cast Member for assistance.
If we can help with any other questions, you have a pal in
planDisney. Wave "Hi!" to Mickey for me!
Magic Awaits!
