Klarrisa from NH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

can I add an additional person to my room & reservations a week or two before my trip, after payment is required?

Welcome to planDisney, Klarrisa! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. I'm happy to clarify exactly what options you have regarding your upcoming Disney Resort Hotel reservation, so let's jump right in!

I'm happy to tell you that it may still be possible to add someone to your room, even after your final payment deadline has passed. It happens all the time! Plans change, someone decides last minute that they can join in on the fun, and Disney totally understands.

The best thing to do is give Disney Resort Hotel Reservations a call as soon as you'd like to add someone. A friendly Cast Member can walk you through your options and see what's possible for your specific reservation. Just keep in mind that adding another person might change the total price of your vacation package, especially if you're including park tickets or a Disney Dining Plan. If you're within 30 days of check-in, there may also be a small change fee, but they'll let you know exactly what to expect before you commit to anything.

Also, depending on the size of the room you booked, there may be a maximum number of guests allowed. If you're already at capacity, you might need to explore switching to a room that accommodates more people, but again, that's something a Cast Member can help you with when you call.

So in short: yes, it's totally worth checking, and there's a good chance it can be done! Just reach out sooner rather than later so you have time to make any necessary adjustments and keep your countdown to the magic stress-free.

    See ya real soon, Klarrisa!
