Hiya Yadira,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your question to us here; I always love chatting dining! In my opinion, it's the most exciting part of planning a vacation. I'm currently planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I've been browsing menus in anticipation of my dining window opening up.
Yadira, you mentioned that you already have a resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets, which is excellent. However, do you have a
Vacation Package? A Vacation Package is created when your resort hotel is booked in the same transaction as your theme park tickets. I ask because, currently, only Guests with a vacation package can add on a dining plan to their vacations (an exception to this is
Annual Passholders who have a resort hotel reservation). If your reservations are a part of a Vacation Package, you should be able to modify your existing reservation to add a dining plan through
My Disney Experience online yourself. To do so, log onto your account, click My Plans, locate your reservation, and then click Change or Modify Your Reservation. You can then modify to add the dining plan from there. If you do not have a Vacation Package, then unfortunately, you are not able to add a dining plan to your vacation.
I hope this was helpful, Yadira. Before I let you go, if you have a Vacation Package (or are unsure if you do), you can always reach out to a Cast Member in
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for assistance with adding a dining plan. They can help you determine if you're eligible to add a dining plan and even assist with the process of getting it added for you. If you need anything else, please come back and see us; we would be happy to help you have an incredible upcoming summer vacation.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
