Howdy, Ashley!
Welcome to the planDisney Roundup. It’s so nice to meet you. I’m even more excited to hear that you have an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. Since it is so close, I’m sure that you are already starting to work on all the last-minute details, like dining reservations and creating your list of ‘must-do’ attractions. Working out all the fine details is my favorite part of planning. Of course, arriving tops the planning process.
Now, let’s get your fur baby situated. The good news is that
four resorts are designated as dog-friendly. Which resort will you all be staying at? Out of the four, my family is looking to book a stay at Port Orleans-Riverside with our pup. We love that resort, but love how close we would be to our favorite Mickey-shaped treats,
beignets! Sorry, I’m a foodie, so I may have become distracted by the resort options, resulting in thinking about food. To answer your question, though, you’ll want to give the Walt Disney World reservations line
a call. Have your confirmation number handy, as the Cast Member will ask for that number so that they can add your furry friend to your reservation. Once that is done, you can get back to the fun planning!
As you plan, I have a few dining recommendations for you.
Coral Reef offers a fun dining experience with a large aquarium just feet away. We also enjoy stepping out of the parks for a late lunch or early dinner and favor
Steakhouse 71. It’s close enough to Magic Kingdom for my little ones, but also the perfect dining experience for the adults in the party. Plus, the Contemporary is walking distance from Magic Kingdom, so you can just step out of the park for dinner and return to the magic when you are done.
Ashley, I cannot wait to hear all about your visit. If you have any other questions, ask away. We here at
planDisney are more than happy to help you plan for this exciting visit.
Remember, you’ve got a friend in me,
Shantel
