Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jamiya! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Linking tickets and using
Disney MagicMobile can feel a little confusing, especially when you're working with a special event ticket rather than a standard theme park ticket, so I'm really glad you asked.
The first thing to know is that Disney MagicMobile doesn't create a separate pass in your Apple Wallet for each individual ticket. Instead, it generates a single MagicMobile pass tied to your name, and that pass holds all of your entitlements at once. Think of it like a digital key that unlocks whatever tickets or experiences are linked to you in your
My Disney Experience account.
So if you only have a special event ticket, for example, a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney Jollywood Nights, you can absolutely use MagicMobile even without a standard day ticket. Once that special event ticket is linked to your profile in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, it automatically becomes part of your MagicMobile pass. You don't need to take any extra steps to create something separate, and you definitely don't need a general admission ticket for MagicMobile to work.
When you tap into the event, the system recognizes exactly which entitlement you're using. There's no risk of accidentally scanning the wrong ticket because MagicMobile handles all of that behind the scenes for you. As long as the correct ticket is linked to your account, your Apple Wallet pass will bring it with you when you enter.
Just make sure you've completed the setup for Disney MagicMobile in the app, added your pass to your Apple Wallet, and you'll be ready to go.
Jamiya, you're all set. Your special event ticket will live safely inside your MagicMobile pass, and you'll be able to enter with just a tap of your phone. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
