One of the best parts about staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that no matter which one you choose, you’re always close to the magic with unique dining, theming, and easy access to the parks. Some of my favorites are
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with its elegance and convenience,
Disney’s Beach Club Resort with its unbeatable location near EPCOT,
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort with the Disney Skyliner running right through the property, and
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside with its laid-back riverfront setting. Each brings something different to the table, but all of them add something special to the overall vacation experience.
As for adding a request to your reservation, it depends on what you’re looking for. When using the Online Check-In service through the
My Disney Experience app, the request section is limited to options like “ground floor” or “higher floor.” You won’t be able to specify buildings or room numbers there. If you have a request that goes beyond those dropdown options, the best way to add it ahead of time is to call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line listed on the
Help Center page. That said, I’ve personally had the best luck by making my requests at the front desk when I check in. It gives me the chance to explain directly what I’m hoping for, and the Cast Members do a great job of looking at availability in real time. Just keep in mind that no request can ever be guaranteed, since room assignments have a lot of factors in play, but if you’re willing to wait a bit at check-in, Cast Members will always do what they can to help.
