We are annual pass holders. We want to see the nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom. We have a reservation for the Magic Kingdom but want to go to Epcot before we go to the Magic kingdom. Is there a way to do that?

    Hey there, Karen!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! It's always such a joy to connect with fellow Disney fans, especially when there's so much excitement in the air!

Right now, one of the most talked-about topics is the all-new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, and I have to say, I'm just as excited as everyone else! This new addition promises to light up the night with breathtaking floats, an incredible soundtrack, and some of our favorite characters brought to life in a whole new way! It's truly a dream come true!

As an Annual Passholder, there are a few important details to keep in mind when it comes to theme park reservations, especially if you plan to visit more than one park in a single day. In most cases, you'll need to have a theme park reservation for the first park you plan to enter, unless it's a "Good-to-Go" day or you're entering after 2:00 PM (except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom, when reservations are still required regardless of the time).

So, for example, if you originally made a reservation for Magic Kingdom but decide you'd rather start your day at EPCOT, you'll need to update your reservation to reflect EPCOT as your first park of the day. The good news is that you can easily make this change right in your My Disney Experience app

Then, once you're ready to make your way from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom, you can park hop and step right into the magic that awaits you there! Ending your evening with Disney Starlight will be the perfect way to wrap up your day!

Karen, I hope this information has been helpful for your pixie-dusted Disney day! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,

    Kami
