Will be attending the Typhoon Lagoon After Hours on 8/25. We will each have a beach towel, but I was trying to figure out if there were other towels available while there. I saw where you can borrow towels if you are staying on property, but we are not.

Hello there, Karen! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I’m so excited you’ll be experiencing Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon. What a fun way to enjoy the water park with shorter waits and cooler temperatures!

Now, let’s talk about towels. Since you mentioned bringing your own beach towels (great idea!), you’re already off to a good start. But if you find yourself in need of a backup, or just want to skip carrying wet towels home, there are towels available for rent directly at the park.

Currently, there is a very small fee associated with towel rentals, but it’s always a good idea to check on the day of your visit, as pricing can change without notice. Just stop by Singapore Sal’s or any designated rental area near the park entrance, and a friendly Cast Member will help you sort it out!

In the past, Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels were able to borrow towels at the water parks as a complimentary perk, but that particular benefit has since been updated and is no longer offered, even for on-site Guests. So since you’ll be visiting as a day Guest, bringing your own towels (or renting once you’re there) is the way to go.

Karen, I hope this helps you feel extra prepared for your splashy evening under the stars! Be sure to soak up all the fun, and if you have any other questions as you get ready for your visit, we’re always here and more than happy to help.

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
