Aloha, Christine! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. I'm here to be your Wayfinder for your journey beyond the reef, so let's set sail!
It sounds like you have an upcoming Hawaiian adventure planned--I'm so excited for you! Our very first
Disney Vacation Club trip as Members was a tropical getaway at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and it is truly a magical place.
Christine, visitors cannot purchase day passes to access the Aulani pools, beach, and activities as those are exclusively for overnight Guests. However, you are welcome to visit the resort and sample the wonderful restaurants and shopping--and the incomparable
Laniwai, A Disney Spa! This is a full-service spa and salon that is made for relaxation. I loved the outdoor hydrotherapy garden
Kula Wai (you can enjoy access to this area with the purchase of any full-service spa treatment) and had perhaps the best facial ever during our vacation.
Since we were attending a wedding while in Hawaii, my girls received the princess treatment at
Painted Sky: HI Style Studio, the section of the spa dedicated to
keiki ages 3 to 12. The Cast Members at Painted Sky were so wonderful and made the experience really special for them. I recommend making reservations for any spa services as early as possible.
My absolute #1 Aulani must-do is also open to day Guests--
KA WA'A, the evening luau. This is an incredible opportunity to experience traditional Hawaiian food, story, song, and dance under the stars. My family still talks about it and I can't recommend it enough!
As a day Guest visiting Aulani, you can enjoy complimentary self-parking for up to 4 hours depending on which area of the resort you're visiting, with a purchase of $50 or more.
I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes, Christine! Wishing you a wonderful Hawaiian getaway--please stop by planDisney again anytime if we can help with other vacation planning questions.
Stay Magical!
Susan
