Aloha!
It is great to see you here again, Denise! Thank you for visiting us with another of your vacation planning questions all about your first stay at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa! Your trip will be here before you know it, so let’s get straight to your question!
Denise, you will find that Aulani has the perfect balance between relaxation, and spontaneous fun. For casual dining, there isn’t grab-and-go food directly in the lobby, but you will find several options nearby.
Ulu Café offers a great mix of quick-service meals and snacks to take back to the pool or your balcony, while
Off the Hook serves lunch and dinner without a reservation and is perfect for a relaxed poolside meal. In the evening, you could visit The ‘Ōlelo Room, which has live music most nights and a great atmosphere - definitely how I would like to unwind after a day relaxing by the pool.
For activities, head to
Makiki Joe’s to check out the wide range of beach gear. Many items are complimentary for Aulani Guests, including boogie boards, life jackets, beach chairs, and umbrellas. You can also rent snorkel sets, paddleboards, and other water equipment if you want to try something more adventurous!
While there isn’t shuffleboard at Aulani, you will find plenty of fun activities in the
Pau Hana Room, the resort’s community hall. Here you can take part in arts and crafts sessions, including, at the time of writing, a “Make Your Own Mickey Ears” activity, which really helps infuse the magic of Disney with the relaxing island vibe!
I hope this helps answer your question today, Denise! If you have any other Aulani-specific questions, I highly recommend my planDisney pal
JoAnna - she's a regular on the Hawaiian island of Ko Olina! I wish you the best time visiting Aulani next year!
See ya real soon!
