Hi Tiffani,
It sounds like you have a lovely evening planned!
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a magical dining experience. Artist Point is lovely, and you get to interact with characters from
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Be sure to save some time to look around
Disney's Wilderness Lodge while you are there. The soaring lobby is amazing, and the grounds outdoors are lovely. They all truly evoke a feeling of the American Northwest.
After your dinner, you are heading back to
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. What a very fun location for your Walt Disney World vacation, with larger-than-life icons from Disney movies!
In order to travel from Disney resort hotel to Disney resort hotel using
Disney transportation, you will need to change transportation in the middle. This is because the transportation does not run directly between Disney resort hotels. You will need to head from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to either a theme park or Disney Springs. Once at a theme park or Disney Springs, you can switch to a bus back to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
It might be fun to take a boat from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom and then catch a bus to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort from Magic Kingdom. This boat ride is lovely. The potential issue that I see with this is the possibility of many guests trying to leave Magic Kingdom when you are. I suggest that you check to see what time the nighttime spectacular fireworks show is ending at Magic Kingdom that night. If you arrive close to when that show lets out, you could be caught with many other guests trying to leave the theme park for the evening. You would also have to be sure that Magic Kingdom is open late enough that night for you to catch the bus back to Disney's All-Star Movies. Bus transportation runs one hour after theme park closing.
Another option that would alleviate the issue of avoiding crowds when the theme parks close is to head to
Disney Springs on a bus, and then catch the bus back to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. Bus service from Disney Springs also runs one hour after Disney Springs operating hours; however, these tend to go quite late. Also, Disney Springs does not have a nighttime spectacular show that causes large numbers of guests to leave at one time.
Another option for you would be to get
Minnie Van Service. Minnie Vans are fun, polka-dotted vehicles that you hail using the Lyft app. They will take you around Walt Disney World. They are a great way to get from one Disney resort hotel to another quickly and directly, which you might appreciate after your late dinner! Our travel group used Minnie Van Service to get from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to a dinner at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge recently. We found the Minnie Van to be fun and efficient! Please do note that Minnie Van Service does have a cost associated.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Tiffani! Please feel free to come back to planDisney with any further questions.
