If I get the 3 bedroom deluxe villa at the grand Floridian (4 adults and 4 kids) and my sister gets a 2 bedroom villa at the Polynesian (2 adults 2 kids), can we get access to each others rooms so we can help out with each others kids?

Hey there, Krissy, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning a fantastic trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm happy to help you with your question. Thanks for bringing it to us.

You've picked great resorts for your stay. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are arguably two of the most conveniently located resorts in all of Walt Disney World. They are both Magic Kingdom resorts and are easily accessible to each other via the Resort Monorail.

Unfortunately, there really isn't a way for Disney to grant access to both rooms. Also, keep in mind that certain resort amenities, like the use of pools and parking, are reserved for Guests staying at that resort, so if an adult not on the reservation were watching the kids, he/she would be limited in using certain parts of the resort.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, so if having access to each other's rooms to help out with the kids is important to you, consider having all of you stay in your 3-bedroom Grand Villa, which accommodates up to 12 Guests.

Large groups, such as yours, are so fun! When I've visited with large groups in the past, one of my favorite things has been dining together as a large group. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzaria are two of my favorites for large groups. I also really love getting a group attraction photo together. Pirates of the Caribbean would be a fun one to have.

Krissy, I hope you have a fantastic trip. If you have any other planning questions for us, please come back and visit us at planDisney.

    Have a magical trip!
