Hi, Megan! What a really fun question, and honestly, it depends on what kind of experience you’re looking for!
Having grandparents along makes a
Disney trip extra special. My family often takes our Disney trip with my mom, and she has the best time with her grandchildren. Watching all of them light up with joy is so special! Multigenerational trips are some of the most memorable because everyone gets to share in the magic together.
If you go with two separate
hotel rooms, you might save a little money depending on the resort and room type, and everyone will have more privacy and their own bathroom, which makes getting ready a lot faster. It's also nice if grandparents want their own space or if you have little ones who go to bed earlier.
On the other hand, a suite like at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort can be amazing because it keeps everyone together under one roof. Suites often have extra bedrooms, a living area, and sometimes even a kitchenette, which can make mornings and evenings much easier when you’re juggling multiple generations. Plus, it’s really fun to be able to hang out together in the suite to chat, play games, or enjoy a snack without having to move between rooms.
In the end, both options can work; it just depends on your budget, how much privacy you want, and how much time you want to spend together in one space. Either way, bringing grandparents along adds so much extra magic to the trip!
Have the most magical multigenerational trip, Megan! Stop by and see us again if you have more questions!
Toodles,
