All is not lost, though! Your best move is to keep checking the Walt Disney World website regularly because plans change and cancellations do pop up. Availability can shift multiple times a day, especially as you get closer and people firm up their itineraries. If you'd like the most current picture, give

If you're open to an alternative with that woodsy, outdoorsy atmosphere, take a look at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It's just across Bay Lake from Fort Wilderness, and it has the cozy vibes that you're going for. You'll have easy boat access to
Magic Kingdom, great dining, and the rustic ambiance you're after, with the convenience of a Deluxe Resort. If being close to Fort Wilderness activities is important, it's an especially handy substitute.
