Royal Greetings, Laura!
Welcome to planDisney, it’s so nice to meet you. I’m even more excited to hear that you will be spending the
holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It’s going to be absolutely magical! My family and I shared a holiday trip a few years ago, and since then, we have been trying to plan for our holiday return. We spent most of Christmas Day exploring the Boardwalk. We started with breakfast at
Ale and Compass and then walked the entire Boardwalk. It was a slower-than-normal day for us and one of our favorites. We spent a lot of time outside of the theme parks, and we loved it!
I wish we had come up with your idea and scheduled a
Fireworks Cruise! It’s been a dream of mine that I need to make a reality. To schedule your Firework Cruise, you’ll want to
call to schedule. You can also check for availability on the
My Disney Experience Mobile app for availability. All you need to do is open the app, then touch the magnifying glass. This will then open the search bar at the top of the screen. Type in “Firework Cruises” to search. Click on it to launch the details, then scroll to the bottom where you can select EPCOT Fireworks Cruise or Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise. Click on the one you want, then scroll down until you see the blue hyperlink that says “Check available cruise dates”. Click on that link to launch the availability calendar. Fingers crossed you can book a cruise on the date you want!
Laura, I hope this helps finalize your plans. Don’t forget to take the time to enjoy
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The cookie stroll is my favorite part!
‘Tis the Season,
Shantel
