    Hi We are booked on the 3 day cruise from Melbourne. My 25 year old son does not have a driver’s license or passport. What I.D. can he use? Thanks

    Hello, Debra,

    It's important to make sure that everything is "practically perfect in every way" before you embark on your Disney Magic At Sea cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. I'm glad you are looking into travel documentation requirements now to be sure to have things in place for when you arrive at the port in Melbourne.

    When sailing on a round-trip Disney Magic At Sea cruise starting in Australia and not visiting any other ports, all Guests 18 years old and older must have either a valid passport or another government-issued photo ID. Just to be sure, you'll want to verify for yourself what forms of ID would fill that need. But I would recommend applying for a Proof of Age card to fulfill this requirement. My understanding is that it can take as many as 20 to 25 days after lodging an application before one might receive the ID card in return. So it may be prudent to begin that process right away to avoid being ineligible to embark on your Disney cruise vacation.

    You are going to love the Disney Wonder, Debra. It is my favorite Disney Cruise Line ship. My favorite Disney restaurant anywhere is Tiana's Place on the Wonder. We usually request a table up close to the stage so we can enjoy the live music and see some of our favorite characters up close.
