Ahoy, Mike! Welcome aboard! I’m Shonette, and I’ll be your skipper today within this planDisney crew!
Buoy, oh buoy, I’m not kidding when I say your question about the
Jungle Cruise really floats my boat! The Jungle Cruise is one of the most entertaining rides in all of Walt Disney World, with its witty skippers serving up humorous puns and jokes as you make your way past
hiss-terical snakes and
snap-py crocodiles just to see the world-famous backside of water! Okay, I’m
knot shore if you’ve noticed, but I’m taking my job as your planDisney skipper way too
sea-riously. I may be
pun-stoppable when it comes to puns, so let’s chart a course in the right direction and sail directly to your answer, Mike!
I did some
fishing on the Walt Disney World website, and the Jungle Cruise is not scheduled for refurbishment. According to the official website, the
Jingle Cruise and all its holiday
deck-orations are scheduled for Guests to enjoy through January 2nd. Then, starting on January 3rd, the Jungle Cruise is set to be back making waves as usual. Of course, check your
My Disney Experience app as your trip approaches for any changes to this schedule.
Mike, I’m not sure why you aren’t seeing the Jungle Cruise on your Lightning Lane list. I noticed that your arrival date is January 4th. If you are staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, your Lightning Lane selection date would be December 28th. If you’re staying off-site, your selection date would be January 1st. Since you’re writing to me on December 27th, it may be that you’re trying to purchase your Lightning Lanes a bit too early.
I also have a little pro tip for you about the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If you find a ride or attraction is unavailable, keep checking back. Lightning Lane times often pop up throughout the day of your visit, and you can modify your plans for new times or different experiences as they become available. I’ve found this strategy works well for my family when we are trying to get Lightning Lane times for some of the most popular rides, like
Slinky Dog Dash, Frozen Ever After, and
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Mike,
canoe believe we are at the end of this answer? I’m not
lion when I say this question has been a
puntastic journey! I’ve had a
boat-load of fun answering your question, and if I can help you navigate through any other questions, please let
minnow! I sincerely hope this information helps you set sail aboard the
punderful Jungle Cruise in no time!
(As we say in the jungle) “See you later, alligator.”
