Hi Richard! I’m so happy you stopped by planDisney with this question. It’s a really smart one to ask before your vacation, so there aren’t any surprises when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort for your magical visit.
When you book a
Florida Resident package, each Guest in the room who receives a Florida Resident ticket will need to
show valid proof of Florida residency in order to activate their ticket. So if you’re the only Florida resident in your party, only your ticket can be activated with resident eligibility. The other two Guests will either need to provide their own valid Florida residency, or their tickets will have to be upgraded to standard theme park admission at the current price for non-residents. This can usually be handled quickly at a ticket window or
Guest Relations once you arrive.
If your travel dates are already set, it might be worth calling the
Disney Reservation Center ahead of time to adjust the package so everything’s nice and smooth before you check in. That way, you can avoid any hiccups and dive straight into the magic the moment you arrive.
I know planning a trip with friends or family can be a bit of a juggling act, but the good news is that Disney makes the upgrade process pretty simple. And once everyone’s tickets are set, you’ll be ready to make the most of your park days.
I hope this helped answer your question as you plan and prepare for what will surely be an unforgettable visit. If you have any more questions or want more planning tips, you know where to find us!
Have a magical day,
Emille
