Ahoy there, Beverly! Welcome aboard planDisney. Thanks for sailing our way with your question. You are just days away from stepping aboard your Disney Cruise and into a magical vacation.
I'm glad you stopped by to ask about bringing snacks with you, as there are a few rules regarding
taking food on the ship. Nonperishable snack foods in original factory-sealed packaging are allowed onboard. These must be sealed and unopened as you step aboard the ship. When you are ready to disembark the ship, all items must either be consumed before returning to your home port or remain unopened. That means if you have a half-consumed bag of snacks, you'll need to toss it before you leave the ship. For this reason, small, individually wrapped snack items might be the best choice.
I often pack a few snacks for travel days, and I always tend to pack more than we end up eating. With all the delicious food on the ship, the snacks go uneaten on board! When it is time to say goodbye to the ship, I'm always grateful I packed individually sealed snacks so that we can take them with us for our travel day home.
I hope you find some favorite foods aboard the ship. If you need to purchase some extra snacks, you'll find some in the shops on board. Consider trying the complimentary
Room Service during your sailing for some between-mealtime bites. If you are looking for something savory, there is a well-loved cheese and cracker plate on the menu. For something sweet, try the cookies, Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar, or inquire about the cake of the day.
Okay, I need some room service right about now! Lucky you, you can have it very soon! Enjoy your Disney Cruise, Beverly. Sail our way again soon!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
