Hi Sherry,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm always thrilled to see a fellow Floridian pop in with a question about Walt Disney World.
It is possible to buy a one-day ticket to any of the four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. You can even purchase those last-minute at the gate as long as the park is not at capacity. Or you can
buy a one-day ticket for any park in advance on the website or through the My Disney Experience mobile app.
However, a one-day ticket is seldom your most economical option, especially if you are a Florida resident. One-day tickets are almost never included as part of a special discount offer. Those usually come in multiple day packages.
For example, currently, through April 17, Florida residents can get a
two-day, two-park ticket that covers Epcot and Animal Kingdom for $190 plus tax. That's a few dollars less than a one-day ticket likely would cost in the next month. (The cost of full-price tickets varies by park and date.)
Or, for even greater value, the
Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket offer, good through May 16, offers four days in any of the theme parks for $255 plus tax. A three-day Discovery Disney ticket also is available.
You can see all the
special offers for Florida residents on the Walt Disney World website.
If your schedule only allows you to visit for one day, Sherry, I totally understand. I just want to be sure you have all the information to get the most value for your time at Walt Disney World. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Enjoy!
Wilma
