Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jimmy!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to answer your question regarding your upcoming trip to Disney World! The countdown is on, the plans are coming together, and before you know it, you will hopefully be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey-shaped snack in hand. A Disney vacation always brings a little extra MAGIC to the calendar, and knowing you're headed there in January makes it even more fun. Let’s make sure your plans (and your peace of mind) stay as smooth as the
Skyliner gliding across the sky.
Now, when it comes to
Disney World cancellation policies, the good news is that they’re designed to be guest-friendly, especially for vacation packages like yours that include both a Disney Resort stay and theme-park tickets. December 17, 2025, is your final payment date, and it also marks the 30-day point before your trip, at which time full refunds are still permitted. So, if you need to cancel on or before December 17, you will receive a full refund. If something comes up between December 18 and January 14, Disney will still refund you; however, you will forfeit the initial $200 deposit. Canceling the day before or the day of arrival means the whole package becomes non-refundable. It’s also worth noting that this policy only applies if your tickets are part of a Disney-booked vacation package;
tickets purchased separately have their own rules and are typically non-refundable. Add-ons, such as
Memory Maker,
travel insurance, or certain special experiences, may also follow different policies.
I do wish upon a star that you and your family will be able to join us in January! As you continue to plan, be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information on all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some exciting things planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!
Please let us know if you have further questions. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
