EPCOT is a popular theme park to visit on New Year's Eve because of the special Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration fireworks display that lights up the sky to welcome a new year (scheduled for 11:54 PM). In addition, guests are treated to an earlier showing of
Luminous The Symphony of Us at 6:30 PM, and a double dose of Disney fireworks is sure to deliver extra magic and welcome 2026 with a bang! I took a look at the
My Disney Experience mobile app this morning, and I'm guessing that in anticipation of a busy park day, Lightning Lane Multi Pass has sold out for this day for EPCOT. I know this might not be the news you were hoping to hear, but I do have a few suggestions:
- If your park tickets include the Park Hopper Option, you can consider starting your day at a different theme park and purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for that park (as of this morning, all other theme parks had availability to purchase Multi Pass). If you do this, once you redeem your first Lightning Lane attraction, you'll be eligible to select another attraction at any theme park, including at EPCOT (subject to availability). Of course, there is no guarantee that attractions and experiences will be available, but this might be an option to try and secure some Lightning Lane passes for later in the day at EPCOT.
- If your travel party is okay with being separated, take advantage of the single rider line for select attractions at EPCOT to shorten your wait times. You can usually find a single rider entrance for Test Track and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
- Focus your time at EPCOT on the ambiance and special features available on New Year's Eve. You'll find dance parties and DJs spinning music throughout locations in World Showcase and CommuniCore Plaza to help count down to 2026!
