I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started! If you’d like to change the name on a ticket prior to your arrival at the
Disneyland Resort, you’ll need
to contact a Cast Member at (714) 781-4636 for assistance. Technically speaking, you actually don’t have to change the name on the ticket, since tickets aren’t assigned to a specific person until each ticket is scanned at the front entrance turnstiles. As soon as a Guest is scanned in, the Cast Member will take a picture to assign a specific ticket to them. At that point, the ticket can’t be transferred to anyone else. However, I understand that it may be confusing to not be able to see the specific name associated with that ticket while using
Disney Genie+ service on your
Disneyland app, so it may be worth taking the time to change the name ahead of time.
As your trip approaches, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app and getting familiar with it. The Disneyland app is my favorite handy helper in the parks! With the app, you can check attraction wait times, find favorite Characters, use Genie+ service, and even
mobile order food and drinks. This convenient service has saved my family from many toddler (and parent) meltdowns in the past!
