Hey Sabina,
Welcome to planDisney! So glad you're here with us as you plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. One of my most favorite topics is
dining, so I am super excited to help out with your question.
Disney's
Dining Plans are great options for guests who value having the ability to prepay for their meals and have one less thing to worry about while visiting the resort. Having two options to choose from offers great flexibility. You can choose the quick service plan or the dining plan that includes table service meals. The choice is yours and the best option really depends on how your family will want to enjoy their meals while on vacation. Dining credits are provided at the start of your vacation and you can use as many (or as few) of them as you like throughout your stay.
Unfortunately, dining credits are not transferrable. You will not be able to swap a table service credit for a quick service credit. However, you do have the option to use one of your future quick service credits from the same trip if you have additional days to pull from. That's the beauty of the dining plans - they are flexible and convenient.
While you're thinking about dining, I know that your reservation window has opened. If you haven't already, give some thought to the table service restaurants you'd like to enjoy during your stay. A few of my favorites that I've been lucky enough to experience are
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs (the best comfort food on property in my opinion),
Tiffins at Animal Kingdom Park (the bread service beef tenderloin are worthy of praise), and
Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian (a great choice for any seafood lover like myself). There are so many great dining locations throughout the resort, so I am certain you will enjoy any of the restaurants you choose.
I hope this information is helpful, Sabina. Let us know if you need any additional help planning your time in the magic. See ya real soon.
