Hiya Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your dining question. I love that you are already thinking ahead about dining reservations.
Character dining is such a wonderful way to enjoy a meal with your favorite Disney pals, take a break from the parks and the Florida sunshine, and slow down to savor some truly magical moments together.
So, let’s dive right into your questions.
Advance Dining Reservations open 60 days before your arrival date. Since you are arriving on May 31, you can begin booking dining reservations on April 1, 2026, starting around 6:00 a.m. If you are staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, you will be able to book dining for your entire stay, up to 10 days, all at once. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort, you will book dining one day at a time. All reservations can be made through your
My Disney Experience app, and one feature I really love is that you can search by date range and preferred mealtime. That makes it so easy to mix and match the restaurant and the day that works best for your plans.
When it comes to character dining at
Magic Kingdom, one of the most popular options is
Cinderella’s Royal Table. This is actually one of my girls’ favorite dining experiences because you get to dine inside Cinderella Castle and meet select princesses during your meal. It truly feels like stepping right into a fairy tale. This reservation is very popular, so if this is high on your wish list, I recommend trying right at your 60-day mark.
Another fantastic character dining option in Magic Kingdom is
The Crystal Palace. Here, you can enjoy a meal with Winnie the Pooh and friends. One thing I really love about this restaurant is that it can easily accommodate larger parties. One time, my extended family and I dined here, and all 15 of us fit at one table. It made the experience even more special.
If you are flexible and would like to explore options just outside of Magic Kingdom, a short monorail ride opens up even more possibilities.
Chef Mickey’s at the
Contemporary Resort is a classic favorite where you can dine with Mickey, Minnie, and their pals. It is such a fun and energetic way to end your day.
Another great option just a monorail ride away is
1900 Park Fare at the
Grand Floridian. This character dining experience often features friends like Tiana and Aladdin, subject to availability. My family and I really enjoyed this one. If you decide to dine here, do not forget to try the gummy bears at the end of your experience; they are delightful!
Elizabeth, I hope this gives you some magical dinner ideas to choose from as you plan your trip. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
