Hi Sandra. Welcome to planDisney!
What a fun question. Whether you prefer a little "Hot Dog Dance" with Mickey Mouse, silly fun with Stitch, a whimsical hug from Winnie the Pooh, or a regal dining engagement with Disney's royalty, Walt Disney World has a character dining experience for you!
Sandra, I'm so happy you asked this question! Dining with my favorite Disney characters is one of my favorite character interactions. I love it just as much as my granddaughters do! It's the best way to taste the magic, one bite at a time! I'd be happy to provide you with that list and offer a few suggestions!
You can find a list of character dining experiences on the Walt Disney World website. I'll include the link for you
HERE. Since you specifically asked about October, I want to let you know that starting August 16th at
Hollywood & Vine, Minnie Mouse and her friends will be dressed in their Halloween best for the Halloween Dine. Their Halloween theme is almost too cute to spook! I've attended the
fab-boo-lous event and I can tell you from experience, you'll have a magical time.
Personally, I love the breakfast at
Cape May Cafe. Those salted caramel "beach buns" are amazing, and the fun beach party vibe makes this one of my favorites. Looking for another great way to start the day? Look no further than
The Crystal Palace. There's nothing like starting your day with a hug from Winnie the Pooh! Plus, the delicious Mickey churro waffles are worth the visit all on their own. YUM! Whether you're dining with princesses at
Cinderella's Royal Table or enjoying the classic fun at
Chef Mickey's, I hope you discover the perfect character dining experience for you and your Disney crew.
Sandra, I hope this was the information you were looking for. Because character dining is so popular, be sure to make your dining reservations 60 days before your arrival. I'm wishing you all the fun. I hope we can help you again, and be sure to follow us on
Instagram for tips and news.
Happy planning,
Shonette
