We check in on August 4, staying onsite, when can we book lighting lanes. I saw someone on another post that could see on the Disney world app when they could book their ll, but I can’t seem to find that.

Welcome back to planDisney, Tara! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. Your trip is just around the corner, so I'm happy to clarify when exactly you'll be able to book your Lightning Lane selections in advance.

Since you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you'll get to take advantage of one of the best perks: early access to Lightning Lane bookings! That means you can start making your selections 7 days before your check-in date for the entire length of your stay, up to 14 days. So if you're checking in on August 4, you'll be able to start booking your Lightning Lanes bright and early on the morning of July 28.

You'll want to hop into the My Disney Experience app right around 7:00 AM Eastern Time that morning to start booking. You can choose up to three attractions in advance per day with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and if you're also purchasing a Single Pass, you can grab those at the same time. After you've used your first Lightning Lane of the day, you can keep booking additional return times one at a time as your day continues. That way, you'll always have something magical lined up!

If you're traveling with a group, just make sure everyone is linked together in your Family & Friends list so you can book all your Lightning Lanes at once. It makes planning your park day so much smoother. So set a reminder for July 28, make yourself a cup of coffee, and get ready to start planning some serious Disney fun.

    Let the countdown begin!
