I would like to check availability of the Disneyland resort hotels January 2026, is it too soon to plan this? thank you! Catherine

Aloha, Catherine, and welcome to planDisney! There's no better way to kick off the new year than a stay at the Disneyland Resort! I can picture it now: stepping into a beautifully themed lobby, relaxing by the pool, shopping for souvenirs, waking up with the excitement of Early Entry, and sinking into a cozy bed after a fun day. The full immersion in the Disney magic we all know and love is what makes these stays so unforgettable.

Catherine, currently, Guests can book Disneyland Resort hotel stays through the end of 2025. Dates for 2026 have not been released, although I anticipate that they may be announced soon, based on previous years. No exact date has been confirmed yet, so I recommend keeping an eye on the Disneyland website between now and early fall, as well as following the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland Instagram account for updates.

All three Disneyland Resort hotels offer unique theming, fabulous pool areas, comfortable amenities, on-site dining options, and a close proximity to the parks. It's all very walkable. The hotel you choose will depend on your priorities. I've stayed at each of them over the years, and, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them! And when you book your hotel stay with theme park tickets, you might even enjoy a little extra pixie dust, like discounts at select Downtown Disney District locations and a collectible pin and lanyard (subject to availability).

By the end of January, there's a chance that some of the 70th Anniversary Celebration entertainment that is pausing for the holiday season will return, such as Paint the Night, the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, and Wondrous Journeys. We should have a better idea about when these will return by the end of the year. If they are available during your visit, you should definitely make time to see them! Check the Hours & Events Calendar as your trip approaches to see what shows will be scheduled and what attractions may be closed for refurbishment – the calendar is updated to reflect details up to six weeks out.

Catherine, I wish I had more details about the timing to share with you, but my best advice is to keep checking. I'll wish upon a star that you'll be able to book your dream vacation soon! If you have any other questions between now and then, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
