Welcome to planDisney, Michelle! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Your upcoming stay at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort in October sounds like it's going to be such a fun trip!
When it comes to
changing or canceling your reservation, the policy depends on the type of booking you made, specifically, whether you booked a vacation package (which bundles together your
Resort Hotel and tickets) or a room-only reservation.
If you booked a vacation package, you're eligible for a full refund of what you've paid so far if you cancel 30 days or more before your check-in date, so in your case, that would be by September 13th. If you cancel between 2 and 29 days before arrival, you'll get a refund minus your $200 deposit, and if you cancel one day or less before arrival, your entire package is non-refundable. If you're planning to make changes, like adjusting your travel dates, the number of guests, or switching resorts, those are subject to availability and the current pricing at the time you make the change. Plus, any changes made within 30 days of arrival are also subject to a $50 change fee per package. Remember that all these fee amounts are subject to change, so be sure to consult your booking documents for the most up-to-date information.
Now, if you booked a room-only reservation, meaning you didn't bundle it with tickets or other components, you can cancel and get your full deposit back as long as you do so at least 8 days in advance of your check-in date. If you cancel less than 8 days out, your deposit is non-refundable.
Not quite sure which one you booked? No worries! You can check your confirmation email or pop into the
My Disney Experience app to view your reservation type. And if you still have questions or need help making a change, a friendly Disney Cast Member at
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets will be more than happy to walk you through your options.
Have a magical day, Michelle!
