Checking into CBR on 9/14, but staying off property on 9/13 due to late arrival, desire to use water park benefit. If we instead change our CBR check in to 9/13, can we use water benefit on the 14th instead? Or separate res, C/I, and C/O? Seems silly.

Splish Splash, Thomas, and thanks for taking the swim over to see us at planDisney. I bet you are deep in the water with all this planning and preparation. This phase is my favorite part of the planning process. The last-minute details, additions, and dining reservations are all worth it! It’s going to be so much fun!

If I were you, I would keep my plans the same. The water park benefit can only be used on the day of check-in. Since you want to head to the water parks on September 14, 2025, don’t change your check-in date. My family and I did something similar back in May, so I’m happy to share our game plan with you. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and stayed with family. In your case, this will be your off-property room. The next day, we headed over to our resort, Art of Animation, with enough time to leave our luggage with Bell Services and catch the bus to Blizzard Beach. We arrived at Blizzard Beach just an hour after the park had opened and spent most of our day there. We took a midday break for a late lunch and to check out our room, and ended the evening back at the water park.

This really helped maximize our day using the water park offer and allowed us to return to our room for a semi-early evening so that we could be refreshed for the next day. Hands down, I would do it this way over again! We normally head over to Disney Springs on arrival day, but the water park offer is such a great deal, we opted for a night in so that we could be ready to splash down slides the next day. Although I preferred cruising down Cross Country Creek.

Thomas, I hope this helps ease your worries. Hakuna Matata, it’s almost time to enjoy the most magical vacation yet! Until then, if you think of any other questions, you know where to find us

    See ya on the slopes,
