Our children want to practice their French, will Cast Members and characters speak to them in French?

    Bonjour & Bienvenue!

How magical to meet another Lizzie here at planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by! Here, it's always the practically perfect time to discuss an upcoming visit to Disneyland Paris, so let's channel our inner White Rabbit and hop to it!

As a teacher, I love that your Mouseketeers are hoping to practice their French during their vacation. What a great way to make learning magical! Disneyland Paris does an incredible job of making Guests feel welcome by offering signage, interactions, and audio in both English and French when possible. You'll be happy to hear that Cast Members and characters make every effort to communicate with Guests in their chosen language, and since it is located in France, there's no shortage of French speakers at Disneyland Paris. So, have your little ones approach with a friendly 'bonjour' and see what magical memories await!

In addition to interactions with Cast Members and characters, they'll also have the opportunity to practice their French by reading signage and menus as well as by listening to the audio that accompanies certain attractions and entertainment offerings. It will truly be an immersive experience!

I hope this helps, Lizzie, and that your children are encouraged to continue their studies. If you'd like any additional assistance planning your upcoming visit, feel free to come see us again at planDisney. You've got a friend in us!

    Thinking Happy Thoughts,
