Hi Matthew and welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you're planning a 3-week stay at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort next year. My family spent 3-weeks at
Walt Disney World last Summer and it was just the best holiday ever. We really didn't want to come home - even after being there for 3 whole weeks!
Typically, when booking a
Hotel + Ticket package from here in the UK, the start date of your
Disney Magic Tickets is the same as the check-in date at your Disney Resort hotel.
If you don't want your park tickets to commence until the second week of your stay, I would recommend
contacting the Walt Disney Travel Company to ask if they are able to do this for you, before booking.
I'm not sure if you're aware, Matthew, or not, but, a 14-Day Disney Magic Ticket includes 14-days of Theme Park admission which can be used across an 18-day window. So, for example, if you were to arrive at Walt Disney World on 4 October 2026, your park ticket would be valid on any 14 days from 4th - 21st October 2026.
In addition to this, 14-Day Magic Tickets also provide you with a separate 14-days worth of
Water Park admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park (subject to seasonal opening).
So, in a nutshell, Matthew, you could spend 14-days at the Disney Theme Parks and 4-days at the Disney Water Parks during the validity of a 14-day Disney Magic Ticket. Even if it is not possible for your Disney Magic Tickets to commence during the second week of your stay, this would potentially only leave you with a couple of days at the end of your 3-week trip where you would not be able to visit a Theme Park or Water Park.
I hope that this has answered your question. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your 2026 trip!
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
