Ahoy there, Darcy! My family and I have sailed to and from Galveston, TX on a couple of Disney cruises. Our first time there, we drove all the way from Utah. The most recent sailing, we flew out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and used ground transportation services offered through Disney Cruise Line. While we certainly enjoyed the many sites along our long road trip with our first cruise out of Galveston, we all agreed the ground transfer to the airport was a far more convenient way to travel. The providers contracted by Disney Cruise Line for ground transfer to the port on embarkation and debarkation day generally use large motorcoaches with spacious passenger cabins and comfortable seating. These types of vehicles follow regulations that are similar to those that apply to city buses. Infant car seats and similar devices are not required nor made available. You are welcome to bring your own child carrier or booster seat, if you would like. Note that the vehicle may or may not have seat belts or other accommodations to attach a seat. Many families opt to hold infants on their laps. I recognize that some families may prefer a secure car seat. In such cases, it may be worth considering the use of a third-party service that either offers or accommodates child car seats.Once on board your Disney cruise ship, you will find many amenities and accommodations for your little ones. High chairs, portable cribs, strollers, and more may be available. Simply ask your stateroom host, Guest Services, or your rotational dining service team for the items you may need.I hope you have a magical cruise, Darcy!~Tony
