Hi Justine, and welcome to planDisney! Planning a magical holiday is almost as fun as the trip itself, so I’d be happy to chat about the practically perfect resort hotel for your vacation.
The prices for Disney World theme park tickets and resort hotel stays vary throughout the year. For instance, I’ve found my vacations are usually more affordable in the winter than in the spring. So if you’re flexible on when you can visit, you may be able to save some money by checking a few different dates. I’d also recommend keeping an eye on the
Walt Disney World Deals page since new offers are added all the time!
Now, let’s chat about my favorite Moderate resort hotel. I do love
Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for its intimate size, easy access to delicious
beignets, and quick
boat ride to
Disney Springs. But more often I like to stay at
Caribbean Beach Resort. The lush, tropical vibe is super relaxing, and it’s right on the
Skyliner, making it a breeze to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Not to mention, it makes for a fun ride before you even get to the theme parks! And I think
Sebastian's Bistro there is one of the best values for a Disney table service restaurant.
From Caribbean Beach Resort, you can also walk to the nearby
Riviera Resort for more food options.
Topolino’s Terrance on the top floor is my family’s must-do character breakfast. The food is delicious, and meeting Mickey in his artist outfit is unique and fun! And
Le Petit Cafe, off the lobby, has amazing specialty coffee and sweet treats that are exclusive to Riviera Resort. Don’t miss my favorite, the Hazelnut-Chocolate Bomboloni!
If you’re looking for something a little more luxurious, you might like the rooms in the Gran Destino Tower at
Coronado Springs Resort. I stayed here for the first time last year, and it truly feels like a Deluxe resort! The lobby is breathtaking, and this resort hotel has some amazing restaurants.
Toledo is on the top floor and has delicious Spanish inspired tapas, seafood, and steak (I think it’s right up there with the popular
California Grill!). And
Three Bridges Bar and Grill is right on the water with one of the best burgers at Disney!
I hope this helps you choose your next Disney resort hotel, and I’m wishing you the most magical holiday at Disney World next year! If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
