Our daughter has a peanut allergy. Which kitchens are peanut free? Please include all restaurants in Disneyland, DCA, Downtown Disney, and the Grand Californian hotel. We will be at the parks 5/4- 5/8. Thank you so much!

Hey there, Whitney! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get the answers to all their planning questions.

I hope your family is getting excited for your visit to Disneyland Resort so very soon! Unfortunately, there aren't any peanut-free kitchens at Disneyland Resort. I understand this may not be what you were hoping to hear, and that this could complicate things for your visit. However, Disneyland Resort does a really great job of making sure Guests with allergies can be accommodated and cared for. I have visited with someone in my party who had a severe peanut allergy, and they were able to dine with us at most locations.

On the Disneyland app and on the Disneyland website, you can take a look at each quick service or sit-down restaurant and view its menu. If a location has allergy-friendly options, you will see this at the bottom of each menu. Just alert a Cast Member when ordering, and they will let you know which accommodations they can provide. Each location also has a binder you can check out to check ingredients yourself. You will find that dining at larger sit-down locations will be the easiest to offer resources and accommodations. When booking a reservation, you will be able to notate the allergies, and you should alert the Cast Member when you are seated as well. Ultimately, it's up to you, the Guest, to make the most informed decision on what you are comfortable with after your conversation with Cast Members and kitchen staff.

I also want to make sure that you know that you can also bring your own food into the parks. If you are staying on property at one of the resort hotels, you should have an in-room refrigerator. If your room does not, you can request one from housekeeping (subject to availability).

Whitney, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a magical time.

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
