Hi Astgik!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you can take advantage of the
SoCal Resident Ticket. Having three full days to enjoy the magic at the Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a great deal to me! With the May 15th, 2025, expiration date for those tickets just around the corner, let's get you an answer so you can put the finishing touches on your park plans.
While
upgrading a SoCal Resident Ticket from One-Park-Per-Day to a Park Hopper is possible, the upgrade would apply to your full ticket. In other words, it is not an option to upgrade only one of your park days. I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear! I wish I had better news to share, but I'm hopeful you will still find the magic in those tickets worth exploring.
If you haven't already, I would recommend making your
theme park reservations as soon as possible, as availability is becoming limited with the expiration date approaching. Making and modifying reservations can easily be done in the Disneyland Mobile App by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and selecting "Make a Park Reservation". If your preferred date or park is not available, keep checking! While I don't have a magic wand, I do know that Guests are always changing their plans, and you might find an opening.
Even without the ability to hop, both parks have some special offerings this time of year to add an extra layer of adventure to your visit. Disneyland is celebrating the
Season of the Force through May 11th and plan to sip and snack your way through
California Adventure's Food and Wine Festival through April 21. While both offer plenty of entertainment and food offerings, I absolutely love the return of
Hyperspace Mountain and
Soarin' Over California. Be sure to make time to experience these attractions during this limited time!
Astgik, I hope this has been helpful! You're sure to be in for some magical memory-making no matter how your days unfold. If you have any more questions in your planning, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
