I want to make dining reservations for 10. What is the best way to do this?

Welcome to planDisney, Pamela! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Planning a Disney trip with a group of 10 sounds like a blast. There's nothing I love more than going to Walt Disney World with a big group of friends and family!

When it comes to dining reservations for larger parties, the best place to start is the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website. You can try searching for a table for 10 directly, but depending on the restaurant and time, you might find that availability is limited. If that's the case, a great workaround is to split your group into two smaller reservations and book them at the same or similar times. When it's time to dine, I recommend arriving around 30 minutes in advance of your reservation and letting the Cast Member at the check-in podium know you're all together and would love to sit near each other. While seating together isn't guaranteed, they'll do their best to make it happen!

If you prefer to talk to someone directly, you can also call the Disney Dining Reservations line at (407) WDW-DINE. They may be able to help you find availability for the full group of 10 in one reservation, but keep in mind that options may be more limited that way.

I can't let you leave without letting you know some of my favorite restaurants for big groups. I love Boma - Flavors of Africa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Biergarten at EPCOT, Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge, and 'Ohana at the Polynesian. These spots are super fun, have plenty of space, and are great for sharing a meal with the whole family.

I hope this answers your question, Pamela, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
