Hey, Tara! Welcome (back) to planDisney.
I love your adventurous spirit, Tara! There’s something so fun about
dining at Walt Disney World. There are so many great options, each with its own bit of Disney flavor. And honestly, there’s a lot to love about leaving your plans open and just seeing what’s available each day. It keeps things flexible, spontaneous, and sometimes leads to unexpected favorites you might not have picked otherwise.
You can absolutely make
dining reservations the day of. In fact, lots of Guests cancel plans last minute, and those spots often pop up that morning, or even just an hour or two ahead. Lately, there’s been noticeably more availability at popular restaurants, including places like
1900 Park Fare. That said, it’s still not guaranteed. If there’s somewhere you really want to eat, it’s always safest to grab an advance dining reservation when you can.
If you don’t see any availability at the restaurant you'd like to dine at, be sure to check the
walk-up list in the
My Disney Experience app. Many restaurants offer it, and if there’s room, they’ll text you when your table is ready. Just make sure you're near the restaurant when you join the list. It’s a great option for keeping things laid-back while still enjoying a great meal.
I hope that's helpful, Tara. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
Mike
