Has Disney announced when Monsters ride in DCA is going to close?

Hi Marcelina! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

Boo hoo! I'm so sad that Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! at Disney California Adventure Park will be closing its doors. While an exact date hasn't been shared, the closure is planned for early 2026. I hope you can visit before it closes! While the Laugh Floor might not remain, the laughter and memories always will. And what's that saying? When one door closes, another one opens. The plans to make way for a new Avatar-themed land will hopefully give you another reason for a future visit.

Personally, I'm excited about the new Monsters, Inc. Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios! It might just be the perfect reason for you to plan a vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World. You can learn more about the plans for Monsters, Inc. Land in this article from Disney Parks Blog

If you have more planning questions about The Happiest Place on Earth or any of the Disney Parks, please feel free to send them to me at planDisney. I'm all ears, and I would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
