Ahoy there, AnnaMarie! Welcome to planDisney!
The
Disney Adventure just began sailing out of
Singapore this month, and it’s been a whirlwind of excitement! From the building updates during the ship’s completion, to finally seeing guests on board, and its maiden voyage, the Disney Adventure has already proven that any voyage sailed is going to be an absolutely epic Disney ADVENTURE!
The voyages on the
Disney Adventure are “At Sea” cruises, where guests sail continuously for either 3 or 4 nights, depending on the cruise length, from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore and back. This means that there aren’t any port stops, but continuous days at sea. Can I share something with you, AnnaMarie? This is actually my DREAM Disney cruise!
For me, a Disney cruise ship IS the destination. My preference is to choose Disney cruises with as many Sea Days as possible, because there is SO MUCH to do on board! In fact, I usually find that there aren’t enough Sea Days to experience all that is offered, even after sailing many of them multiple times, so sometimes I’ll stay on board during days at port to maximize my ship time! Therefore, a Disney cruise with continuous days at sea, especially one such as the Disney Adventure, where there’s so much to explore on
19 decks (incredible, right?!), sounds like the best Disney cruise ever!
Embarkation and Debarkation on the Disney Adventure are identical to every other Disney cruise ship in the fleet. To
board the Disney Adventure, you will choose a Port Arrival Time when completing your Online Check-In before your cruise. All guests must be on board by the 4:00 PM Aboard Time and may not arrive at the pier before their Port Arrival Time.
If you purchase
Ground Transportation from either the airport or one of the 3 Disney Cruise Line partner hotels in Singapore, you will have a preferred Port Arrival Time. While it’s not always guaranteed, this usually means an earlier boarding time of late morning to early afternoon. Again, this is not guaranteed, but in my experience, using Disney Cruise Line’s Ground Transportation service has provided us with an earlier Port Arrival Time than using our own independent transportation to the ship. Plus, the entire Ground Transportation service is a very well-thought-out and efficient process. Therefore, I highly recommend booking Disney Cruise Line’s Ground Transportation if you're able.
Debarkation from the Disney Adventure takes place between 7 AM and 10 AM on your last morning on board. The debarkation process will begin the night before. You should fill out your Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC), tag, and place your luggage outside your door to be picked up at the port the next morning. Before debarkation, you are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast on board before leaving the ship.
AnnaMarie, I hope I was able to provide clarification. I wish you the most beautiful memories on board your Disney Adventure cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
