Ahoy there, Mary.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with you question for us. I see you’re considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation! While I thoroughly enjoy the excitement and busyness of the theme parks, I also relish the relaxation and serenity onboard a Disney ship.
There are many factors that contribute to the cost of a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Your
destination, length of sailing, the
stateroom category and the number of rooms you’ll need, and whether you’re sailing during peak travel dates all affect the price. A shorter cruise during a “slow season” (for example, when most schools are in session) will cost less than a week-long sailing during Thanksgiving week.
In terms of accommodation, an inside stateroom will be more affordable than a spacious suite. Disney Cruise Line ships are designed with families in mind, and most staterooms can comfortably sleep 3 to 5 Guests, depending on bed configurations. Some Concierge suites can even accommodate up to 8 Guests.
As you can see, there are lots of factors that play into the cost of a Disney Cruise Line vacation. One thing I find helpful when budgeting for a Disney cruise is the ability to
pay at your own pace. I suggest you and your travel companions check out the
Disney Cruise Line website and narrow down your travel dates, destination, and the staterooms you would like to stay in. Please feel free to sail by
planDisney again if you have more trip-planning questions or if you’re looking for more recommendations. We’re happy to help!
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
