Hi there, Sierra!
Welcome to our magical corner of the internet here at planDisney. We love to help our fellow Guests plan for memorable visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, so I'm happy to help with your question today.
The
SoCal Resident Ticket Offer is such a good one, made extra special if you get to enjoy it with your family. I hate to be the bearer of unmagical news, but you will need to wait until you have a valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting an eligible California address within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599 to enter with this ticket. Cast Members are instructed to check IDs upon entry. I know that wasn't the information you were hoping to hear, but I do hope it's helpful in your planning.
The good news is that you have until May 15th, 2025 before your ticket expires, which makes for a long runway for that magic. I do recommend making your
theme park reservations for all three days sooner rather than later, even before you actually have that ID in hand. As we get closer to May, you will see fellow Guests booking their reservations to ensure they use all three days of their tickets. If you have an upcoming reservation before your new ID arrives, you can easily modify it to a later date right from your Disneyland Mobile App. Just tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation". Here, you will see the option to "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and you can see the availability for the upcoming months.
Sierra, I do hope you find yourself in the parks soon! There is so much to enjoy in the next three months beyond the everyday magic from
California Adventure's Food and Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21) to
Disneyland Park's Season of the Force (March 28 - May 11). In both cases you'll be able to enjoy the return some of my favorite attractions for a limited time -
Soarin' Over California and
Hyperspace Mountain!
If you have any more questions or are looking for some new tips and tricks, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
