    What is the earliest entry time for EPCOT's Moonlight Magic on April 30? We have a Space 220 reservation at 5pm but aren't sure if we'll make it (we do not have a theme park ticket for that day). Please and thank you! :)

    Thank you for visiting us with another question. We are so happy to help you as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. I love that I get to chat with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members, and I particularly love to talk all things Moonlight Magic!

    Firstly, congratulations on securing your spot at the exclusive event, which is just for members eligible for membership extras. We have attended several Moonlight Magic events across Walt Disney World over the years. Considering we always book 11 months out, as we travel from the UK, we really do feel lucky it has always worked out for us!

    Matthew, when you arrive at the event, make sure your entire party sticks together during registration. While exact times haven’t been announced yet for the EPCOT event, a previous one held on 25th January 2024 ran from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am, with members and their guests allowed to enter as early as 7:00 pm without a day park ticket. Please note, though, that times for future events may differ.

    With this information in mind, if the event runs to the same schedule as last year, you will be out of luck getting to a 5 pm dining reservation at Space 220 without a day ticket. I am sorry this is not the news you hoped for, Matthew!

    I always like to look for a silver lining. Maybe this is a great opportunity to try a dining location you have not tried before at one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts and then catch Disney Transportation to EPCOT to enjoy the event. Two of my favourite resort restaurants are Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and Olivia’s Cafe at Disney’s Old Key West Resort—both choices offer good, hearty food to fuel the late night at the Moonlight Magic event.
