Ahoy there, Michele, and welcome back to planDisney! You have every reason to be excited about your voyage aboard the
Disney Dream later this month, so let me try to run down the answers to your questions so all you have to do is focus on having fun.
Your first
Halloween on the High Seas cruise is sure to be spooktakular! Even if you didn’t plan a single activity, you and your crew will delight in discovering all the festive decor onboard and seeking out all your favorite Disney pals in their Halloween finest. While I know you will love every minute at Disney’s island destination of
Lighthouse Point, there are no plans for a 5K at this point. I cherish my Castaway Cay 5K medals, so fingers crossed that we’ll be able to add another island 5k in the future!
While entertainment is always subject to change, here is what I found to be currently playing in the Buena Vista Theatre on the Disney Dream:
- Elio (PG)
- Lilo & Stitch (2025) (PG)
- Moana 2 (PG)
- Captain America: Brave New World (PG-13)
- Snow White (Live Action) (PG)
- Thunderbolts* (PG-13)
- Zombies 4 (G)
- The Fantastic Four: First Steps (PG-13)
- Freakier Friday (PG)
Speaking of entertainment, you can watch something special every night in the
Walt Disney Theatre as well, whether it’s a Broadway-style show, variety act, magician, comedian, or even a first-run movie. I look forward to the live shows every night (in addition to the
deck parties like Mickey’s Mousequerade). Definitely refer to the free
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for the most up-to-date schedules, but you can expect to see the following shows in the evening, either before or after your dinner seating: Beauty and the Beast, Disney's Believe, and The Golden Mickeys.
I know that’s a lot of information to process all at once, Michele, so if you have any other questions before you set sail, feel free to visit us again here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
