Ahoy there, Jennifer, and welcome back to planDisney!
I absolutely love that you asked this question because I have an easy and emphatic answer for you: YES! First of all, I love that your son has a more mature palette; the dining rooms on a Disney Cruise ship are the perfect place for him to enjoy and explore anything on the menu. One of my favorite things about sailing with Disney is that not only can you order as much as you want, the servers actually encourage you to try something you wouldn’t otherwise be brave enough to explore on land. If he doesn’t like a dish, don’t worry; he can just order something else!
In fact, adults can even order off of the kids' menu. I may or may not be known amongst my planDisney pals for being the one who starts with dessert before dinner (which typically involves ordering a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar in the dining room). And if he really finds something he loves on a menu, there’s a good chance the chefs will be able to accommodate him if he wants to eat it again the next night, even in a different
rotational dining restaurant. Just communicate that with your Lead Server, and they will do their best to make all his culinary dreams come true.
Don’t forget, each ship also features an incredible buffet-style restaurant, as well as
complimentary 24-hour room service (another fun way to indulge in those aforementioned ice cream bars). This is all in addition to the free soft-serve ice cream and beverage stations you’ll find around the pool deck.
I’m salivating just dreaming of all the sumptuous dishes you’ll get to experience soon. If you have any other questions or would simply like to hear about more of our favorite meals onboard, I hope you’ll visit us again here at
planDisney!
SEA ya real soon,
Sami
