There's a very good chance that your family's older
MagicBands will work for your upcoming visit. As long as a valid theme park ticket is linked to them, you can use them, so I would definitely bring them along.
If for some reason they don't work, you can enter the theme parks with a digital ticket. The
Disney MagicMobile service allows you to hold a smartphone up to an access point at the park entrance to serve as your ticket.
You can set up your pass in a few easy steps. First, tap the “☰” icon on your My Disney Experience App. Scroll to “Set Up MagicMobile Entry” and select “Set Up Your Pass.” You may then add the pass to your digital wallet. All done!
If you are staying at a Disney hotel you may request a complimentary Key to the World Card at the front desk to enter the theme parks and your Disney hotel room. You have a bunch of great options!
