G’Day there, Jamie! Welcome to planDisney. How exciting to be journeying to the place where all the magic started.
Goofy’s Kitchen is a family favorite of mine, with its exciting menu and dance parties mid-meal. I always try to fit in a reservation when I head to the parks!
The Disneyland Resort typically displays its
Hours & Events Calendar up to 6 weeks in advance. With your arrival set on Easter Sunday, I’m happy to let you know that Disneyland is open on your arrival, as is Goofy’s Kitchen. As you had mentioned, we’re still outside that 60-day window for dining reservations. As soon as that opens up (which should be any day now,) you’ll be able to book it for your family. I’d try to book as quickly as possible because reservations can go fast, especially during holiday weekends.
With your arrival date, you’ll be able to take part in
Eggstravaganza! It’s a unique, family-friendly egg “hunt” throughout the parks and Downtown Disney. You’ll go through and search for adorable character eggs scattered around. Maps do differ between Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney, so be sure to hunt for eggs in the location where you purchase your map. When you complete this special scavenger hunt, you’ll be able to redeem it at a redemption location for a fun keepsake. It’s a Disney twist on a classic Easter tradition that’s especially fun for the little ones.
Jamie, thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I hope you have a hippity hoppity time at The Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any questions or need additional recommendations for fun things to do during your visit, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
