Ahoy there, Stephen, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re looking to celebrate the New Year in style with a Disney Cruise, and I’m delighted that I get to be the one to help your dream come to life.
You’re in luck because up my sleeve I found some magic! From what I can tell, two itineraries match all your specifications:
- January 2 - 5, 2026:
3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale on the Disney Dream- January 2 - 5, 2026:
3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral on the Disney WishIf your travel plans are flexible, I did notice a few additional 3-night cruises departing on December 26th. These sailings can be booked online or by
calling a helpful Disney Cruise Line representative.
I’ve sailed on both the
Disney Dream and Disney Wish in the past two years, and both are wonderful for different reasons. Because the Dream carries fewer Guests, it presents a wonderful opportunity to get to know the cast & crew even better (plus you never have to wait very long for that complimentary soft serve ice cream on the pool deck!).
On the other hand, the
Disney Wish contains so many magical touches throughout the ship that I felt like I never wanted to disembark at each port for fear I might not discover all the trinkets and treasures onboard. Well, except for when we docked at
Disney Castaway Cay, then I was among the first to get off because it’s one of my favorite places on earth. Whether I’m running (OK, walking) the 5k or swimming with sting rays, I try to soak up as much sun and fun as possible on Disney’s private island destination.
I hope I’ve given you just a glimpse into the wishing well of all that could be in your future this winter. But if any other questions float by between now and then, please visit us again here at
planDisney. My panelist pals and I are always on call and ready to help!
SEA ya real soon!
