Hello, is Fantasmic stopping its Sunday shows beginning April 12? I just checked the calendar and saw that there’s nothing scheduled for every Sunday.

Welcome back to planDisney, Paige! I completely understand wanting to plan ahead for nighttime entertainment, especially when it comes to a fan-favorite like Fantasmic! There’s something extra special about ending your Disneyland day along the Rivers of America with that music, those moments, and a little bit of Disney magic in the air.

Based on the current Disneyland Resort entertainment calendar, you are correct that Fantasmic! is scheduled to perform on Fridays and Saturdays beginning April 11, with no Sunday showtimes currently listed. Entertainment schedules at Disneyland can shift from time to time, so it’s always a great idea to check the official calendar as your visit gets closer. Additional performances (including Sundays) may be added.

Even if Fantasmic! isn’t scheduled on the Sunday of your visit, there is still plenty of nighttime magic to enjoy. The Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration will still be in full swing, bringing with it some incredible entertainment offerings. Highlights include the dazzling return of Paint the Night, a nighttime parade that lights up Main Street, U.S.A. with vibrant floats and unforgettable music, and Tapestry of Happiness, which transforms the façade of “it’s a small world” into a colorful, storytelling projection experience that celebrates Disneyland history in a truly unique way.

If nighttime shows are your jam, I recommend planning your evening around one of these offerings and finding a viewing spot a bit early so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere as the lights begin to glow. For Paint the Night, areas along Main Street, U.S.A. or near “it’s a small world” often provide fantastic views, while Tapestry of Happiness is best experienced right in front of the attraction’s façade for the full effect.

Paige, I hope this helps you feel confident planning how to wrap up your Disneyland day with something just as memorable. If any other questions come up as your trip approaches, we’d be delighted to welcome you back to planDisney.

Wishing you an evening filled with dazzling lights!
